Winter Chautauqua – Napoleon (Feb 1- 3, 2019)

Portrayed by Mark Schneider from Colonial Williamsburg

No military figure in history has been quite as polarizing as Napoleon Bonaparte. Was he a monster, driven by an endless, ruinous quest for military glory? Or a social and political visionary brought down by petty, reactionary kings of Europe?

Mark Schneider tours nationally as Napoleon and has appeared in films as well as performing more “American” historical figures in Colonial Williamsburg.

Here in Greenville, for one weekend only you can see him as Napoleon. You’ll laugh – you’ll cry – you’ll have lots of questions. And Napoleon will answer them.

Join us for opening night Friday Feb 1 – will be a gala intimate performance. Or come to the free shows on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
