Chautauqua scholars perform in various community venues to bring its special blend of education and entertainment to a wide range of audiences. The general public is welcome to attend any or all Community Workshops

These workshops are sponsored in part by generous grants from the Metropolitan Arts Council and the friends of Chautauqua.
 
Historic Characters that may be requested year round: 
Abraham Lincoln, John J. Audubon, Dr. Seuss, Mark Twain, Herman Melville,  Rachel Carson, Mary Ingles, Sam Watkins, Robert E. Lee, Houdini, Wade Hampton, Ambroise Bierce and Nathanael Greene.
 
During Festival Week June 19 - 26 also available: 
George Washington, Rosa Parks, Eleanor Roosevelt and Franklin D. Roosevelt
